Proposed Wind Turbine at Blackbridge Farm, Towcester, Northamptonshire, NN12 8DR

Hedley Planning Services are submitting a planning application for the erection of a single micro-wind turbine on land at Blackbridge Farm, Towcester, Northamptonshire, NN12 8DR.

The proposed turbine will be located on land at Blackbridge Farm (Easting: 464598, Northing: 250434) and will measure 21m (tip height) The turbine will be situated over 600m away from the next nearest residential property.

Due to the current cost of living crisis and rising energy costs, the applicant seeks to secure energy security whilst reducing costs and their carbon footprint. The proposed micro-wind turbine conforms to all relevant industry standards, resulting in a low environmental impact with regards to noise, visual and ground foundations.

Technical documents such as an Ecological Impact Assessment (EIA) are currently being undertaken, and will be submitted in support of a future application.
