Hedley Planning Service prepared and submitted a planning application for Gentoo, which was recently granted permission for 99 new homes in Hetton, Sunderland. Despite the site previously being approved for residential development local and national policy continue to evolve and impact on changing plans for sites.
Joe Ridgeon, Associate, said “the policy context keeps changing, especially in relation to drainage and air quality which are hot topics at the moment. Developers need to be aware of changing and new material considerations which could impact on their proposals.”
