Hedley Planning Services are submitting a planning application on behalf of Advance Northumberland (Ascent Homes) for construction of 28 homes on land north east of Bridgeford View, Bellingham

Advance Northumberland (Ascent Homes) are proposing to re-submit an application in relation to land North East of Bridgeford View, Bellingham and would like your comments and feedback.

As you may be aware, the site previously received Outline planning permission for up to 36 dwellings in 2017, with a Reserved Matters application approved in 2020 for 31 dwellings. Due to disruption and delays to the start of construction caused COVID-19 Pandemic, we are required to submit a new application. The application will include amended proposals which involve:

• A mix of newly updated 2, 3 and 4-bedroom semi and detached house types including bungalows
• A reduction of the dwelling number down to 28 properties
• Energy efficiency technology for individual properties
• A landscape buffer along the western edge of the site
• Pedestrian and vehicular access from Pennine Way
• Open Space and SuDS Basin to the South West corner
