NORTHUMBERLAND CC & KIER DELIVER £42M SCHEME

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Hedley Planning Services have recently submitted an application for the colocation of Ponteland’s leisure facilities with a 420 place primary school, 1600 place secondary school and improved sport and play facilities. Headed by project managers Wilmot Dixon and Northumberland County Council, the bold design captures the three identities of the primary and secondary school and leisure centre within a single building to maximise the opportunity for a wider community use.

This exciting proposal for Ponteland is anticipated to be become a new community hub for the town with a much needed upgrade in school and leisure provision which has already received overwhelming support during public consultation. The application is currently live and expected to reach a decision by committee in December.
